What do people ask?

Do robocall blocker apps actually work?

They help, but none stops every call: the FTC says “not all scam calls will get flagged,” and scammers can fake the number you see. Vicem judges a call by what the caller says, not only the number.

What’s the difference between a robocall blocker and Vicem?

A blocker judges the number and stops or labels the call. Vicem answers the calls that get through, talks with the caller, and tells you what they wanted.

What is the best robocall blocker app?

It depends on what you need: to stop known robocall numbers, see the blocker apps, Samsung’s Phone app and your phone company’s free filter; to have the calls that get through answered, see Vicem.

Does Vicem say it’s an AI?

Yes: every call starts by saying it’s an AI.

In their own words.
