Do I need a card for the free trial?
Yes. A card is needed to start, because a real phone number is set up for you on day one. Nothing is charged before day 14, you get a reminder first, and you can cancel in the app in one tap.
What counts as a minute?
Minutes are the calls Vicem answers or makes for you. Texts and email never use minutes. Robocalls, scam calls and silent calls Vicem screens out at the start never count against your minutes. Neither do calls that fail on our side. After your minutes, calls are $0.08 a minute, or you can choose to stop there and Vicem takes messages.
How does paying yearly work?
A year costs the same as 10 months, so you get 2 months free. Vicem is $240 a year, Vicem Plus is $490 a year. You can switch between monthly and yearly in the app.
What if I keep my own number?
If you keep your number with your phone company and forward the calls you miss, either plan is $4 a month less, because Vicem doesn’t buy a number for you.
What currency do you charge in?
US dollars, in every country. Local amounts are approximate, from European Central Bank reference rates on 2026-10-07; your bank converts at its own rate.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in the app, in one tap. It takes effect at the end of what you already paid for. Your Vicem number is held for 30 days in case you come back (7 days if you cancel during the free trial).
