How do callers get my reply?
Write your reply in the app. Vicem passes it on, word for word, by email or a short call, and says it’s your AI. Anyone can stop it: press 9 on the call, or reply STOP to the email.

By email
Replies come from your Vicem’s own address under the name “Sam’s Vicem”, with your first name, and end with “(AI)” and a link to your page. Every email says how to stop more emails: reply STOP.
Replies go only to an email or number Vicem could check: one saved for a contact, or one the caller confirmed on the call. Never to a number it couldn’t check.
By phone
On a reply call, Vicem says it’s your AI and reads your words in quotes. The caller can press 1 to hear it again, or press 9 to stop these calls. If they call back before the reply reaches them, Vicem reads it to them first.
Who it won’t contact
Anyone who pressed 9, replied STOP or texted STOP is never contacted again for you. Vicem checks that list again right before anything goes out.
Email to your Vicem
Your Vicem also answers its own email address. It can send short replies on its own, each with a minute to undo. Longer replies are drafted in your style and sent only after you approve them. Choose what it does in Settings › Email.
