How we counted

Every number on this page is computed from the open forwarding codes data, version 1.0.0. It is the same data our code generator and forwarding guides use.

We count 66 named phone companies. Each country’s row for any other network is left out, because it is a fallback, not a company.

The codes come from each company’s own help pages where it publishes them. Where it doesn’t, they come from the network standard (3GPP TS 22.030) or a current guide in the country’s language, as each row says.

Forwarding abroad and charges are what each company states, read for a call forwarded to a US number. “Publishes nothing” means we found no such statement.

The data covers public pages only. No call, customer or Vicem account data is used.
