What call forwarding codes do
Codes that start with ** turn a forward on, ## turn it off, and *# show it. ##002# turns every forward off; *#21# shows if every call is forwarded. They work on GSM-standard networks, most of the world, on iPhone and Android alike.
Every code, in one line
| Code | What it does |
|---|---|
##004# | ##004# turns off every “missed call” forward at once (busy, no answer and phone off or unreachable), but leaves a forward of every call (**21*) on. |
##002# | ##002# turns off every call forward on your line at once: every call, busy, no answer and unreachable. |
**004* | **004*, a number and # forward every call you miss (busy, not answered, or phone off) to that number in one go. |
**21* | **21*, a number and # forward every call to that number: your phone no longer rings at all. |
##21# | ##21# turns off a forward of every call (the one set with **21*), so your phone rings again. |
*#21# | *#21# asks your network whether every call is forwarded, and shows the number if it is; it changes nothing. |
*#61# | *#61# shows where calls you don’t answer are forwarded, usually your voicemail number; it changes nothing. |
*#62# | *#62# shows where calls go when your phone is off or has no signal, usually your voicemail number; it changes nothing. |
*#67# | *#67# shows where calls go when you’re on another call or decline one; it changes nothing. |
**61* | **61*, a number and # forward the calls you don’t answer to that number. |
**62* | **62*, a number and # forward calls to that number when your phone is off or has no signal. |
**67* | **67*, a number and # forward calls to that number when you’re on another call or decline one. |
