After hours and urgent calls

Some legal calls can’t wait, like an arrest or a deadline. When a caller says it’s urgent, Vicem tells you right away; everything else waits for your summary.

For a real emergency, you can have Vicem tell callers to hang up and dial 999.

Appointments and requests

Vicem takes consultation requests: the caller, the kind of matter and the times that suit them. You confirm the meeting.

i.Does it give legal advice?

No. It takes messages and shares only what you’ve allowed, like your office hours. Questions about a case wait for you.

ii.Who can read the calls?

You can. Every call is written down so you see exactly what was said, and no person at Vicem reads them to answer calls.

iii.Can I keep my number in the UAE?

Phones in the UAE can’t forward to Vicem yet. Give out your Vicem number instead and pick up calls in the app.

iv.Can I get a local number in the UAE?

Not yet. You get a US number to give out, and you pick up calls in the app.
