Does Vicem answer when my phone is off or I’m abroad?
Yes. Forwarding runs at your phone company, not on your phone, so calls you can’t take still reach Vicem when the phone is off, out of battery or out of signal. Calls to your Vicem number never touch your phone at all.

What makes it work
The forwarding code from the app covers calls you decline, calls you miss, and calls that come in while your phone is off or has no signal. If you set only some of them, use the full code from Settings › Call forwarding.
Traveling
Forwarding is set with your phone company, so it stays on when you travel. Your phone company may charge for calls it forwards while you roam. Check your plan.
Vicem tells you about calls in the app, so you can read messages wherever you have data or Wi-Fi.
