How to stop spam calls with TELUS Call Control
Turn on TELUS Call Control in My TELUS (Plans & Devices, then the Call Control tab) or dial *99 from your TELUS phone. It’s free: a first-time caller must press a digit on their keypad to get through, which most autodialers can’t do.
Vicem is an AI on its own number that answers the real callers who pass the test when you can’t pick up, and turns scam callers away.
