Call forwarding codes in Canada, for every network

On Rogers, Bell and TELUS, dial **004*, then your 10-digit Vicem number, then #, and press call to forward the calls you decline, miss or can’t take. If your network turns that code down, dial the three single codes for busy, no answer and no signal instead.

Vicem numbers are US numbers for now, so forwarding from Canada sends calls to a US number. Your phone company may charge extra for that: check with them before you turn it on.

What do I dial on Rogers?

  • Rogers notes that conditional forwarding can clash with voicemail. If the code is rejected, turn voicemail forwarding off first, then dial it again.
  • If your network rejects that code, dial the three codes below one at a time instead.
  • If your voicemail answers before Vicem, also dial the “don’t answer” code: it gives you 20 seconds, then Vicem picks up.
