How it works in India

  1. Give out your Vicem number

    Put your Vicem number on your website, card and profiles, and pick up in the app when you want to talk.

Callers in India usually speak Hindi and English. Vicem answers each caller in their own language, in any of 37 languages, and says it’s an AI in that language too.

After hours and urgent calls

Pets get sick at night. Vicem answers at any hour and tells you right away when a caller says it’s urgent. It shares the out-of-hours clinic you give it.

For a real emergency, you can have Vicem tell callers to hang up and dial 112.

Appointments and requests

Vicem takes the appointment request: the pet, the reason and the times that suit the owner. You confirm the time.

i.Will it give medical advice about a pet?

No. It takes the details and passes them to you, and shares only what you’ve told it to, like the out-of-hours clinic.

ii.Can it answer common questions?

Yes, like your hours and address, if you tell it. Everything else it takes as a message.

iii.Can I keep my number in India?

Phones in India can’t forward to Vicem yet. Give out your Vicem number instead and pick up calls in the app.

iv.Can I get a local number in India?

Not yet. You get a US number to give out, and you pick up calls in the app.
