What your callers ask

  • “My heating isn’t working.”
  • “Is the apartment on Main Street still available?”
  • “When is rent due?”
  • “Can I have a pet?”

How it works in the Netherlands

  1. Give out your Vicem number

Put your Vicem number on your website, card and profiles, and pick up in the app when you want to talk.

  2. Keep your number

Forward the calls you miss to your Vicem number. It’s a US number, so your phone company may charge for each forwarded call.

Forwarding codes for your phone company

Callers in the Netherlands usually speak Dutch. Vicem answers each caller in their own language, in any of 37 languages, and says it’s an AI in that language too.

After hours and urgent calls

Leaks and lockouts happen at night. Vicem answers at any hour and tells you right away when a tenant says it’s urgent.

For a real emergency, you can have Vicem tell callers to hang up and dial 112.

Appointments and requests

Vicem takes viewing requests: the place, the name and the times that suit them. You confirm the viewing.

An example call. Sam is an example name; yours says your name.

How a call goes

  1. Vicem

Hi, this is Sam’s AI. This call is transcribed. How can I help?

  2. Caller

Hi, water is leaking from the ceiling in my bathroom.

  3. Vicem

I’m sorry. I’ll pass this on right away. Which unit are you in, and is the water still coming?

  4. Caller

    Unit 4B. Yes, slowly.

  5. Vicem

Thanks. I’ve marked it urgent: unit 4B, bathroom ceiling leak. You’ll hear back as soon as possible.
