How it works in Mexico
Give out your Vicem number
Put your Vicem number on your website, card and profiles, and pick up in the app when you want to talk.
Callers in Mexico usually speak Spanish and English. Vicem answers each caller in their own language, in any of 37 languages, and says it’s an AI in that language too.
After hours and urgent calls
Vicem answers at any hour and tells you right away when a caller says it’s urgent. It is not a crisis line, and it shares the crisis number you give it.
For a real emergency, you can have Vicem tell callers to hang up and dial 911.
Appointments and requests
Vicem takes requests for a first session: a first name, a number and the times that suit them. You decide and get back to them.
How a call goes

Hi, this is Sam’s AI. This call is transcribed. How can I help?
- Caller
Hi, I’m looking for a therapist. Are you taking new clients?
- Vicem
Thank you for calling. I’ll pass this to the therapist. Can I take your first name and the best way to reach you?
- Caller
It’s Chris. By phone, please, after six.
- Vicem
Thanks, Chris. I’ve noted a call back after six. You’ll hear back soon.
