On AT&T, dial **004*, then 1 and your 10-digit Vicem number, then #, and press call. That one code sends the calls you decline, miss or can’t take to your Vicem; ##004# turns it off.

The no-answer code ends in **20#: your phone rings for 20 seconds before Vicem picks up, so your voicemail doesn’t answer first.

What should I know about AT&T?

AT&T bills a forwarded call for its full length. With some AT&T plans, forwarding minutes don’t count against the minutes in your plan, and forwarding to a number outside your home calling area can add long-distance charges.
